Your RecapTime.dev Staff SSO account is a Google Cloud Identity organization account managed independently from the one that Hack Club uses both at the HQ and for eligible HCB organizations. It is being planned to utilize Authentik (the same system that powers Hack Club Nest Identity) as our primary authentication service for both public-facing and internal services over the coming weeks and months.
Currently, we set up our own Google Cloud Identity organization for purposes of SSO SAML in apps like Tailscale and Cloudflare Zero Trust/Access and use of the Google Cloud Platform, and not for Google Workspace apps (we're currently in our fiscal host's waiting list for their Google Workspace organization at the moment). The plan is we will migrate to Cloudflare Access once we officially onboarded there after the needed migration work.
If you need an app to have SSO SAML enabled, please file a issue in the InfraOps issue tracker using the Access Requests - Authentication Setup description template (issue form for GitHub).
You must only use your Staff SSO account, alongside your crew/community email address, for official and work related use only. As a crew member or community maintainer at RecapTime.dev HQ, it’s your responsibility to report any suspected login attempts and account security issues to Andrei Jiroh and keep your login credentials stored in a safe place, preferrably in a password manager we use.
Any use of it will also be governed by the Community Code of Conduct, alongside this one.
This privacy policy is specific to how we manage Staff SSO.
